I started this blog many years ago and it has slightly changed focus and format as it has followed my own personal transformations in the last 12 years. When I first got here in 2004, there was NOTHING written on this area. I struggled to find any guidebooks or internet resources on the Piedmont area. Every week I kept exploring new places in the Langhe especially, where I fell in love with the area and its people (literally!:)). I wanted to be a reference for people coming here and share these beautiful discoveries and cultural experiences that I was having. Although expat life can sometimes be tough, I always try to put a funny spin on things and hopefully be useful in some way. With children under 3 years old, time is never enough, and doesn’t leave me with much time to write anymore. But I hope to keep it updated with fresh and fun posts here and there which you can follow through liking my Italianna facebook page or blog page.
